Alexander Giehl

Studio Artist

Alexander Giehl is a multidisciplinary artist, both seriously and silly-ly. Driven by creative problem solving and the interplay between media and experience, Alexander’s practices include poetry, printmaking, painting, woodworking, punk rock, and spinning in circles (among other shapes), all of which they studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Interested in evolution, environmental change, and bettering the physical self, Alexander is a year-round cyclist, working towards every-day sustainability in an urban environment. Alexander looks to Art to question the perceptions of our far-flung society to be a platform for the exchange of information and cultural change.
