Alexander Giehl

Art Assistant

Alexander Giehl is a multidisciplinary artist at play both seriously and silly-ly driven by creative problem solving, handcrafted objectivity, and the interplay between media and experience. Alexander’s practices include poetry, punk rock, printmaking, painting, and spinning in circles among other shapes, all of which the artist studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Interested in prehistory, mycology, linguistics, Beauty, our evolution and domestication wrought upon the Earth, Alexander abstains from eating animals, does not drive a car, avoids pronouns, and uses Art to question the perceptions of our far flung society.
