Help-Portrait Covington at BLDG on December 7th, 12 – 4 pm!
What is Help-Portrait you ask? The idea behind Help-Portrait is simple:
On December 7th, BLDG will join forces with local photographers and non-profits to give professional photographs to those in need. The portraits can be used as holiday keepsakes for families, or even as a headshot for professional opportunities. Attendees will receive one printed 8.5″ x 11″ color photograph and receive the digital version by email.
**Please note there is a limit of one portrait per individual or family.**
How can you get involved?
1) If you know someone in need who would like to have their portrait taken, please share this event with them

About Help-Portrait
Celebrity photographer Jeremy Cowart began the Help-Portrait movement in 2009 as he contemplated using his skills and expertise to give back to those who may not have the opportunity for a professional photo. The idea is that a photographer has the unique ability to help someone smile, laugh and return their dignity. It is a movement, a shift in photography. From Bangalore, India to Ghana, Africa to Ubuntu, South Africa to Chukotka, Russia the language of Help-Portrait crosses cultural and socio-economic barriers. Even Hollywood has gotten in the act as A-list actors Zachary Levi and Yvette Nicole Brown volunteered at a Help-Portrait event in Los Angeles.
